Digital QA Content Manager/Editor

Our client is looking for a Digital QA Content Manager/Editor. This is an onsite 18month contract.

The ideal talent will be responsible for but not limited to:

-Reviewing digital work within the Adobe CQ5 content management system
-Checking that work was performed according to requirements
-Validating that specific pieces of content (disclosures, images, etc) were included and that only those required elements are included
-Validate and check that business processes have been followed and all reviews are complete prior to publishing

-Manage the workflow queue within the Adobe CQ5 tool to publish work as needed
-Provide feedback to content creators / authors on where edits / corrections are required and ask for clarification from content creators whenever there are questions prior to publishing
-Will be held accountable for the validity of content that is published, when compared to requirements.
-Actively participate in team meetings, process discussions, strategy and planning sessions
-Will be required to publish / check work after normal business hours

-Leads efforts to gather and understand business and marketing requirements and goals in order to develop content and messaging strategy.
-Leads discussions with business partners and project teams to identify and document a thorough understanding of business content and marketing requirements.
-Recommends appropriate web content and online marketing strategies based on business goals and objectives.
-Keeps abreast of and analyzes company, industry and regulatory changes in order to determine applicability.
-Writes and edits web content that meets project goals and end user needs for complex efforts.
-Produces content and messaging strategy documents, such as copy decks, dynamic messaging and promotional banners.
-Ensures online content complies with corporate brand standards, web style guide, legal and compliance.
-Provides leadership on many of the creative team efforts to ensure copy and design meet the business goals/objectives and user needs.
-Leads the development of content style guides, content and messaging strategies, best practices and processes.
-Proactively evaluates and recommends enhancements of the content, web tools and style guides.
-Partners with other writers within team and other departments to leverage and share ideas and make recommendations that apply broadly across multiple channels.
-Researches trends to recommend a variety of user experience and content design principles, best practices and procedures.
-Reviews analytics on an ongoing basis to understand user behavior to manage and shape content and messaging strategies.
-Requires at least 5 years of experience.
