Digital Project Manager (Web, Mobile, Technology)

A global consumer company has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Project Manager, Web and Technology in their New York City office. This digital project manager will lead web- and mobile-based projects for the global Digital Marketing team, from concept to completion.

The team is looking for someone who lives and breathes digital - stays on top of new trends in technology, shares ides on how digital can enhance the consumer experience with a brand, isn't afraid to share ideas on how a website or mobile app can function better.

Projects include but are not limited to:
- The rollout of new websites and a new content management system for 40+ global markets and (2) management, testing and implementation of updates to the brand's new mobile app in collaboration with our external mobile app development vendor.
- Conducting competitive analysis and assess usability and functionality of websites, mobile apps and other technology.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 Lead rollout of new websites and CMS globally, in partnership with external web development vendors and internal corporate IT teams.
 Project manage updates – from testing to implementation to go live – for the Matrix Color Lounge mobile app globally, in partnership with external mobile app development vendor, for 20+ markets globally
 Own the Content Management System (Sitecore), manage content updates and collaborate with external vendors to schedule, plan and execute web projects.
 Lead web support effort globally for web launch and mobile app updates
 Be timely and responsive to inquiries from Matrix global markets on web support
 Drive new features and functionality for both websites and mobile app including defining and documenting requirements based on business goals, analytical data, usability parameters, and design best practices.
 Lead the development and evolution websites and mobile app and ensures branding compliance of digital properties.
 Develop, maintain and execute superior standards of production across a range of digital projects including: websites, mobile applications, complex landing pages, websites & on-going maintenance
 Implement URL redirects
 Test software on client/server and web-based applications

Project Management

 Lead complex digital projects from start to finish
 Ability to complete tasks independently while partnering with the team on key deliverables and providing essential updates
 Partner with Corporate IT team to optimize the marketing infrastructure, systems and processes for website rollout and mobile app updates
 Support team for global digital campaigns that leverage the web, mobile apps or new and emerging tech
 Introduce and manage additional marketing technologies to drive performance and capabilities

Global Communication
 Exercise clear communication with various cross-functional partners, clarifying requirements, creating/managing resources, schedules and expectations
 Apply concise communication, delivering only the most pertinent details to top-level executives
 Communicate with and collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders from various departments, including IT, marketing and finance.
 Demonstrate excellent E-mail communication skills. Experience working with global teams in various time zones a plus.
 Exhibit excellent oral communication skills. Ability to synthesize complex technical jargon into digestible, straightforward and easy-to- understand language that digital novices can understand.
 Display professional presence and decorum at all times
 Exudes high work ethic that inspires confidence in management
 Demonstrate strong command of the English language, both verbally and written

 Extensive experience managing and growing web properties and how to create compelling and engaging user experiences on the web, with deep knowledge of usability and conversion drivers
 Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
 Deep knowledge of content management, QA testing and troubleshooting
 Detail oriented with great organizational and project management skills
 Experience with SEO and metadata research
 Experience managing internal resources and third party vendors to execute projects
 Deep knowledge of Google Analytics and web analysis tools
 Strong data integration, manipulation, and analysis skills needed
 Expertise in search engine optimization and link building
 Knowledge of HTML,CSS, Javascript, JQuery a plus
 Experience with Responsive Design and Mobile device optimization
 Meticulous attention to detail
 Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced, growing organization with evolving priorities
 Ability to manage expectations and drive the process to achieve results
 Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
 Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
 Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple tasks, and prioritize and triage assignments
 Stellar time-management skills
 Organized, self-motivated, team player
 Skillful in creative problem solving
 Experience working with clients and delivering on their expectations


 Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
 5+ years of digital experience
 Familiarity with Google Analytics is critical
 Some experience with a major consumer brand or digital agency preferred
 Knowledge of web technologies, content management systems, and design software is required.
 Excellent technical (web and mobile), project management and communication skills are also essential.
 Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
 Expert proficiency in Excel
 Extensive experience using a Content Management System
