One of our clients within the Software space for Education is looking for a Digital Project Manager for a temp to perm opportunity

Our client, a creator of the award-winning online career guidance tool used in schools, libraries, colleges and universities throughout America, continues to experience uninterrupted growth.

They are seeking a proactive and web savvy Project Manager to drive SaaS development initiatives proactively and professionally. You will have at least 3 years of experience in managing digital projects successfully. These skills should come naturally to you: organization, collaboration, time-management, effective listening, written and verbal communication. Agile experience will be viewed favourably as well. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small and growing PMO within a growing organization.


About the role:
The Project Manager will primarily work with internal and external stakeholders, developers and user experience designers in a collaborative, constructive and positive manner. They will help project team members stay informed and move forward together. They will know when to bring in technical leads and/or functional specialists to co-create solutions from time to time. The Project Manager should be able to grasp software concepts quickly and document these into lean, client-facing specifications. Strong attention to detail and business acumen are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements:
-3-5 years of demonstrated experience managing projects in digital environment
-Create and manage workback schedules aligned with executive and client expectations
-Organized and self-directed, with the ability to lead multiple projects/tasks of varying complexity
-Removal of obstacles and streamlining processes for teams and their members
-Manage project budgets, record task progress, document achievements and obtain client sign-offs
-Interpret corporate strategy and implement your projects through that lense accurately and consistently
-Build trust relationships with clients, vendors, colleagues and functional leads within the organization
-Ability to function in a deadline-driven environment, and lead projects with minimal supervision
-Demonstrated ability to work as a team player and independently
-Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
-Strong experience with software development phases encompassing requirements,design, quality assurance and UAT
-Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite

Nice to haves:
-Experience with agile practices
-Ability to speak spanish will result in a $2500 premium

-Ability to work well with savvy clients and strong clint facing skills
-Work and communicate well with the CEO of the company
-Strong business sense and and understanding of software implementation
-Understanding of the agency space but tech savvy
-Someone like an Engagement Manager, Implementation Manager, Project Manager or Account Director could be very successful in this role
-Someone who enjoys a fast paced environment
-Ability to handle working external agency and managing that relationship. Ability to push back where necessary when working with the agency
-Ability wo work well with internal teams on projects
-Waterfall or Agile experience and working with production and taking initiative
