A digital ad agency located in the Flatiron District is seeking a Digital Project Manager on a freelance to hire basis.

Job description
The Digital Project Manager manages the client requirements and expectations for any given digital project. This person is responsible for working with the client and internal teams to harness the creative process to the workflows and processes agreed. They generate and improve business objectives, goals and targets through the correct adoption of the policies, procedures and working practices. They double-heck deliverables every step of the way to make sure the team stays on track and the client stays happy.

• A pro at time management: Implement project schedules ensuring all activity is completed to the agreed deadlines
• Ability to work with much autonomy, as this position does not require being in the office 5 days a week. We are flexible as long as the work gets done flawlessly
• Ability to predict/plan upcoming resource requirements
• Understand the client’s business and the way the client works
• Review Client brief instructions and assess if brief content matches with vendor needs, budget and timeline: Ask questions upfront!
• Communicate regularly regarding work in progress: Mostly via email
• Support team members and developers in the pursuit of delivering the highest standard of service to the client
• Develop and maintain strong relationships external suppliers to achieve the marketing goal

Day-to-day responsibilities:
• Interpretation and consolidation of client asks and vendor needs
• Set and manage project timelines
• Brief projects to team members as required
• Ensure all output meets client requirements, has been through QC and is approved before release to the client
• Financial management
• Work with Managing Partner to handle issue escalation and resolution, if nec.
• Take responsibility for contact reports and all team meeting administration
• Verify that the briefing process is adequately managed; ensuring accurate and comprehensive information is being provided on all briefs to studio/design/developers and acquiring missing information for team when required
• Overall responsibility for managing the client’s budget where applicable, project managing all costs and activity in the appropriate manner (e.g. schedule of activity)
• Construct and drive critical paths with the client and supporting teams and third parties
• Accurately quote all jobs and keep the client updated regularly with any additional costs

Job qualifications:
• Digital project management experience necessary.
• Candidate must have experience working on digital marketing materials including emails, banner ads, website development. Programmatic a plus.
• Minimum 3-5 years account/ project management experience, preferably in an advertising agency
• A diploma / degree in communication, advertising or marketing
• A friendly, positive team player who is pro-active
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills
• Strong client facing and presentation skills a plus
• Committed to high-quality output and service, with an eye for detail
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Able to handle challenging situations and act appropriately
• Excellent planning and organizing skills; ability to plan for all eventualities and provide solutions to issues
• Know and understand the client’s organization and market
