Digital Project Manager

0 people like this description

Weʼre after a flexible, proactive Digital Project Manager with ambition.
Must have a creative agency (or professional services) background - ideally someone with a strong digital focus but comfortable with branding, print and more traditional marketing.
Youʼll be confident and client-facing - happy to explain the digital opportunities to clients and prospects. And youʼre experienced managing mixed project teams - creatives, techies, internal staff, external resources etc.
As a branding agency, our focus is always the brand, not the technology. So you appreciate the massive potential of digital and how it appropriately works for a brand.
We get involved in digital at a variety of stages – a “website project” could be a full corporate level build, a re-skin, or designing a microsite. Youʼll have a flexible approach that can meet these ever-changing challenges. And we have lots of projects on at any one time - hence youʼre comfortable juggling the demands of various sizes of projects simultaneously.
Experience of working with professional services organisations is a distinct advantage but not essential. Ideally you might have some web tech skills (HTML, CSS, PHP) too.
For the right person, this role has massive potential. We are evolving fast – there is the possibility you could extend our digital offering and grow the business significantly.

Four main areas of responsibility:

1. Digital project management
Taking projects through a full project cycle - initial meeting to final delivery (and beyond)
Typically this involves proposal writing, client meetings, scoping, managing both internal teams and suppliers, reporting internally and externally, support and maintenance, post-launch evaluation.

2. Digital support
Ongoing support of our clientʼs digital communications
We support our clientsʼ digital channels in many ways. This can include training CMS users; explaining an issue with the email marketing platform; editing website content; or rewriting of copy for the web. Additionally youʼll support the team and their digital communication needs.

3. Digital consultancy
Helping clients think (digitally) bigger
Ensuring our advice on digital remains relevant and forward thinking. It would include input into digital aspects of proposal, pitches and projects; advising clients on latest development in digital; or writing strategies to support clientʼs digital communications.

4. New business & strategy
Setting a strategy for how we do digital
Assisting the senior management/new business team to leverage digital opportunities. Identifying our clientsʼ future digital needs ensuring we are ready to meet them. Managing and evaluating our own digital channels.
