Digital Project Manager

AQUENT's major entertainment client is seeking a digital project manager to both shepherd individual initiatives from brainstorming through completion, and maintain the overall project roadmap and workflow. Sample projects could include creation of new apps, promoting new series, creating new site features, or other such digital media endeavors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Program/Portfolio Management for Digital Media

- Work with executive team to develop strategic roadmap and departmental priorities 
- Facilitate and participate in weekly project prioritization meeting with executive team, forecasting future resource needs, identifying possible risks, and reprioritizing projects based on any new change requests or green-lit projects
-  Assess and identify potential improvements to overall program/project process
 - Coordinate the process and the execution of portfolio projects across all main functional areas (Editorial, Product/Technology, Marketing)
- Manage the departmental budget
- Document the scope of work with help from functional leads, and validate against timeline, budget and resources
- Develop the project plan and schedule, including all necessary steps to complete project
- Clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies
- Ensure proactive scheduling of all aspects of the production with various teams involved
- Create specification documents for assigned projects
- Manage the full lifecycle of projects from initial scope and requirements through to QA and launch 
- Manage project scope and execute change control when additional requests for features or functionality are made to ensure on-time project deliverables 
- Manage day-to-day tasks and have in-depth involvement to allow for early identification of potential challenges 
- Lead and actively engage in QA of ongoing projects
- Track and deliver digital assets for third party platforms and digital marketing initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years experience leading programs and projects of varying sizes; managing cross-functional teams and both internal resources and external vendors.
Expertise in project management software such as MS-Project, Basecamp and JIRA.
Excellent program and full cycle project management skills. PMI or other related certification, as well as Agile experience is a plus. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
Excellent organizational, analytical and documentation skills. 
Proficient knowledge of system development lifecycles. 
Strong leadership and presentation skills 
Able to work both collaboratively and independently
Extremely detail-oriented, flexible and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated creative problem-solving abilities
