Digital Project Manager

The successful Digital Project Manager candidate has a background in both interactive and design/marketing deliverables. You are known for your rigorous attention to detail and organization skills. You also thrive on solving problems, wrangling designers/developers and avoiding drama.

Digital projects may include include CMS implementation, web asset production, social campaigns, digital directives and eCommerce builds. The key to success is understanding the language, knowing what questions to ask, and not being afraid to learn about new technologies. An interest in all things interactive – from marketing eCommerce sites to in store digital displays – is required.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively scope and manage projects to budget and deadlines
  • Understand and facilitate client needs and requests, managing expectations throughout
  • Collaborate with Account Manager to define project strategy and scope; write Statement of Work and Change Order documents
  • Manage creative teams on design deliverables: visual centers, digital banners, etc
  • Manage development partners on digital deliverables: CMS, eCommerce, digital directives, etc
  • Manage digital media partners: organization of ad specs, design management, trafficking for online media (no media buys though)
  • Oversee CMS system and use WYSIWYG editing tools
  • Create project schedules and ensure team awareness of all timelines, review schedules, deliverables and allocated hours


  • SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years in project management with increasing responsibility, preferably at a digital creative agency
  • Experience working with digital media partners and familiarity with Content Management systems
  • Understanding of marketing and advertising campaigns including print, digital, retail and photo components
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, informal, high energy, chaotic, sometimes obnoxious, stress-inducing environment. This is important!
  • Solutions-oriented thinker able to problem solve on the fly, unfazed by project challenges and stumbling blocks
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Suite is a must. Workamajig experience is a bonus!
