We're looking for an awesome Digital Project Manager for a national agency. This is a contract to hire position and is located in Portland, Oregon.

As Digital Project Manager you will be responsible for agency-resource management and execution of digital programs. You will provide recommendations for strategy and develop the scope of work for each program including: developing project timeline & budget, scheduling appropriate resources, setting project milestones, scheduling reviews, overseeing QA, identifying possible scope creep and working with Account Service Department to manage it.

You will work tirelessly and ethically to earn and keep each clients? respect and confidence and be seen as a trusted partner who brings value to their business through articulate communication, exceptional execution, innovative solutions and measured success. You will ensure each agency resource has the tools, information and assets they need to do their work and meet the deadlines while making certain that each program you manage delivers on schedule and on budget. Your strong commitment and understanding of technology and the digital space, consistent communication, exceptional organizational skills, and entrepreneurial spirit will ensure success.


  • Experience with a range of interactive and multimedia projects such as: static and dynamic websites, databases and dynamic delivery, e-Commerce sites, mobile, online advertising, etc.
  • Put both the client and agency interests at the heart of your decision-making
  • Own the estimating methodology and approach and develop clear documentation and communication such as: statements of work, schedules, milestones, run rate reports, resourcing schedules, and internal and external briefing documents.
  • Adhere to agreed upon strategies and client brand guidelines
  • Own the project schedule, ensure compliance by managing internal and external resources
  • Oversee QA and code delivery, project asset aggregation and final delivery
  • Negotiate, document and deliver contracts, usage rights, and other logistical needs for external vendors


  • Previous experience in a full-service, digital or direct response agency environment
  • Diplomacy, creative problem solving, ability to manage client & agency expectations
  • Experience managing multiple projects against aggressive schedules & tight budgets
  • Demonstrated understanding of Web and related technologies
  • Ability to adapt to change and work within flexible processes
  • Impeccable organizational skills, strong attention to detail and follow through
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows, MS Project, MS Office, and Visio


    A minimum of three years experience managing digital content development and/or application development, direct response experience a strong plus.
