Digital Project Manager

Our client is looking for a Sr. Project Manager with 6+ years of experience in developing web-based software solutions. We're looking for someone that can manage software development processes at a fast pace while following best practices and interact with a variety of clients on strategic, high-impact projects.

The Project Managerʼs role is to successfully manage deliverables, including 3rd party vendors, for complex projects with multiple dependencies. S/he demonstrates high competence in using PM tools (estimating, financial tracking, risk management, project scheduling, etc.), adjusting the tools as required to manage a project effectively.

S/he demonstrates competence in time management for self and team (sets goals, prioritizes tasks, updates schedules etc.) to ensure success. S/he skillfully manages conflict with stakeholders/client/vendors. As project leader, s/he identifies and solves problems before issues escalate and develops creative solutions.

Responsibilities
· Develop and manage high volume project/program campaigns of complex degree strategically and efficiently
· Manage resource allocation and utilization for project elements
· Identify and mitigate program/project risks early
· Build a reputation and serve as internal escalation point person on projects/programs
· Seek to improve critical metrics such as margin, revenue growth and profitability
· Track program interdependencies, milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and successful project implementation/deployment
· Prepare & maintain highly detailed project plans; understanding of creative and technical development tasks and dependencies
· Control and monitor project financials and putting corrective actions in place to realign, if necessary
· Act as liaison between marketing and development teams

Must Haves
· Bachelors’ degree
· Experience managing software projects, preferably within Internet/web domain
· Understanding of creative processes as well as technical development/deployment processes
· Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to influence others in these areas
· Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, especially in situations involving consensus and team building with strong problem solving skills
· Requisite level of computer skills to execute the job function effectively
· Minimum of 6 years experience working in program/project management
· Prior experience working with user experience and technology teams in the development of websites and/or other interactive web/mobile applications
