Digital Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager has a solid grasp of interactive project
management and the project development process. The SPM oversees the execution of assigned projects from inception to delivery, with the ultimate goal of delivering the project on time, within budget and within the agreed project scope. Senior project managers frequently deliver projects that not only meet but exceed the client’s expectations.

What you will do:
• Autonomously handle several projects valued at $200,000+ at any given time.
• Develop estimates for these projects and measure their profit without supervision
• Manage projects that are large, complicated or multifaceted, and require very little supervision to meet the requirements of their job.
• Collaborate with Account Directors to understand the “big picture” of the projects they handle, and make solid judgment calls about issue resolution and the company’s position.
• Mentor Project Managers and Project Coordinators with less experience.
• Ensure that internal teams are resourced appropriately for the project according to milestones, and act as the central point of communication for all project related correspondence, both internal and external.
• Provide required team and client documentation at key project milestones (meeting agendas, meeting reports, client feedback, coordinating internal feedback or direction, etc.)
• Actively work with and update Account Directors on project status and issues, and provide budget reports when necessary
• Be active in internal client services team meetings and group initiatives; making suggestions for improvements in process; working cooperatively with team leads across all functional disciplines


What you need for this position:
• 7+ years in an interactive project management role.
• Expert-level command of the development process (strategy, branding, interactive or combination)
• Experience using project management tools and resources to guide projects to completion
• Ability to lead specific projects throughout the relationship and provide direction, delegation, and supply all supporting documentation and information to team members on a timely basis.
• Experience developing estimates and proposals (with key team leads)
• Budget tracking and project reporting skills
• Experience managing billing and expense tracking for clients
• Past experience coordinating, preparing for, and facilitating client meetings
• Top-notch communication skills; communication with internal teams and clients on a daily basis is required and the SPM is responsible for written documentation for both groups across all legs of the process.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Project.
• Bachelor’s Degree

• Experience in a technology company or interactive agency setting; however, comparable experience will be reviewed
