Overview

You will join a team of digital experts with deep experience and connections across the digital

media landscape with an opportunity to work between the Weather Channel and known brands

across the country.

As a Program Manager on the WxPlatform team, you will be enabling the Company to

enter several high-touch partnerships with other media companies. The PM will manage a group

of interrelated initiatives with the common goal of providing leadership across a broad spectrum

of interdependent projects. The Program Manager will direct and manage multiple cross-group,

cross-business unit/function and cross-functional projects to ensure high-quality, on-time, on-
budget delivery objectives. Obtaining buy in from other parts of the company will be critical to

success.

The Program Manager will execute all project planning, costing, integration, performance and

monitoring of identified and approved solution proposals to build and improve organizational

capabilities. Additionally, the PM will ensure adherence to deliverables, schedules, budgets and

project requirements. He/she will facilitate effective communication across the organization to

address project risks, issues and problems, and report progress to management stakeholders on a

recurring basis, as well as manage stakeholder expectations.

Stakeholders include external clients and it will be important for the PM to consistently manage

partner expectations to ensure the highest quality of service delivery, demonstrating strong

partner-communication skills. He/she will lead the charge in creating happy, reference-able

partners while promoting the company's value

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of digital media, advertising and ad operations

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field required

• 5+ years of Program Management experience (Project Management Professional (PMP)

certification preferred)

• Ability to lead with influence within and external to the functional group

• Ability to drive and execute decisions with limited information and the ability to

understand and articulate the associated risks

• Ability to effectively drive change

• Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation and problem resolution skills

• Demonstrate self-starter capability, requiring minimum supervision

• Diplomatic with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Smart Sheet, Google sites, and Project Professional,

with the ability to understand and implement new tools as necessary and appropriate
