Digital Product Marketing Mgr

This role reports to the Director of Global Marketing & Creative Services and is part of the global Creative Services team. The manager works closely with internal executive team to develop effective presentations, along with other collateral and visual communications. This position oversees executive team presentations and other creative needs, managing the relationship with senior leaders, from the coordination of initial interviews and set up of story boards, to the production and delivery of final decks, talking points or other content. The manager works closely with other members of the creative team in the design and evolution of brand assets and graphics, delivery of multimedia services and photo/video production, and enforcement and development of brand standards.

Essential Job Functions:

•Serves as the point person for production of executive presentations, from writing/communications and editing storyboards and talk-tracks to design and final delivery •Manages researching, planning, creating, editing, procuring and designing content, developing narratives and messaging that effectively communicate the BCD Travel story •Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and competitor offerings; undertakes benchmarking and peer assessments as needed to inform presentation content •Synthesizes feedback from multiple stakeholders to arrive at effective design solutions; balances client's goals and constraints with creative desires and opportunities •Writes/edits scripts, secures/tracks licensing and media usage for internal video production •Reviews and develops creative briefs based on stakeholder's needs, works with design team and manages creative process through to execution with strategic creative and business lens •Effectively works with teams (both in house and vendors) to create dynamic visual content including presentations, collateral, videos, podcasts, photography, b-roll footage, e-newsletters, etc. in support of our strategic messaging •Manages project flow and acts as the liaison between external creative resources and internal client so projects are completed on time and within the agreed upon budget •Supports Director in the identification and evaluation of video and multimedia vendors; supervises and manages workload of freelancers, consultants, associate FTEs, and anticipated future new FTE's (graphic designer, photographer, etc.) •Manages digital library of assets created, working with creative services team to maintain all assets updated and metadata properly tagged for proper classification •Manages equipment inventory, purchases and budget, provides technical workflow support and coordination

Graphic Design/Print/Electronic:

•Works with design team to create highly visual and creative presentations for executives and other key internal stakeholders •Integrates strategic messages into effective visual communication •Creates, prepares and provides electronic/print collateral using professional page layout and graphic design software •Creatively translates abstract concepts into effective visual form in a variety of media •Adapts graphics to fit needs of clients and target audience •Meets with internal clients to discuss their needs and interprets those needs into a final product

Qualifications:

•A Bachelors degree or a combination of education and training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described •Proven track record of creating compelling, innovative, and visually creative digital content •Subject matter expert on software and tools related to data delivery, particularly in the area of PowerPoint and other presentation tools for delivering data to stakeholders •Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) •Progressively responsible experience in the conceptualization, design, and production of animation, graphics, web and print materials; experience in a non-linear video and audio editing/production and/or Web development environment •Must have knowledge of typography, spatial orientation, the handling and manipulation of images, freehand graphics, and basic design elements •Knowledge of color theory, layout and graphic design principles; principles and operation of the Internet; advanced video streaming and animation techniques •Must be able to operate a variety of computer platforms and operating systems including Mac OSX and Windows; operate peripheral equipment including printers, CD and DVD burners and duplicators, scanners, audio recording equipment, and digital projectors •Excellent written and oral communications skills including public speaking and presentations

/Preferred:/

•Advanced coursework in multimedia, graphic design, and Web design is desirable •Preferred knowledge of the following: Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), integrating JavaScript, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets); anomalies of various Web browsers and operating systems; Federal Accessibility standards and W3C code validation; audio/visual equipment; Actionscript •Knowledge of the travel industry sector, product, and quality concepts •Experience in personnel management •Experience at a large organization
