The Associate Product Manager is responsible for partnering with Manager or Director on the delivery of the day to day support of small to medium scale websites/applications projects or enhancements, for OUR CLIENT – clearing the way for the project teams to deliver on the business objectives. This position requires someone that is willing to attend meetings while also delivering on small scale projects/enhancements. The position requires driving the definition and execution of product plans from vision, requirements, and initial design through market launch and rollout to production. The position defines and prioritizes the product requirements using agile methodologies, works with the development teams on product creation and continuously confirms that the planned end result will meet specified requirements on time and budget, with guest satisfaction at top of mind. Under guidance from the Manager or Director, helps manage partner expectations, scope and budget discussions, and project communications by creating specific reports, documents, and presentations that clarify where the team is going and why.

As a product owner, the individual must have a passion for learning and becoming a future representative expert for the rest of the organization on the product. The ideal candidate has experience in or interest in, but not limited to: ecommerce, online marketing, search engine marketing, search engine optimization, blogging, digital marketing, user acceptance, social media, user interface design and/or networking channels.


1. Identify, develop, and manage internal and external team relationships (i.e. QUAD (technology, creative, production & product), business members, executives and cross functional teams) to ensure successful project delivery.
2. Must be willing, in-person or phone, to provide a partnering voice for all online related work by attending reviews, business meetings and engaging with key partners across several of our client's brand teams for projects in flight or as needed by Manager or Director request.
3. Attend all SHOW, ICP's and brand partner meetings to provide a our client's voice at the table and consolidate any next steps to be planned with Manager or Director, as needed.
4. Create and implement product vision, direction, and business plans, including product plans, user stories, product migration and evolution, and product life cycle and retirement for small scale projects or small enhancements.
5. Develop conceptual and evolutionary product plans that meet measurable benchmarks of customer satisfaction and will exceed customer expectations for flexible and exciting functionality and user interface. This includes managing small budget plans, developing business cases, identifying and assessing business opportunities and determining strategic fit conditioned by technical feasibility under the direction of the Manager or Director.
6. Gather, validate, and evaluate product/market requirements through market and guest research, competitive and product research, guest communications and external white papers.
7. Develop business rules and requirements specifications for assigned product features to include effective product and user interface design, rapid prototyping, product validation testing, and usability testing, while ensuring that the product strategy is adhered to throughout the product life cycle.
8. Develop and deliver materials to the appropriate marketing and sales organizations which convey the purpose and details of the product, definition of its user, benefits to the customer, customization capabilities, and competitive comparison.
9. Develop strong internal and external team relationships from all members involved: QUAD, business members, executives and cross functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
10. Accountable for the final product delivery, in coordination with the QUAD
11. Responsible for making sure that the success is universal in all areas of delivery of the project by coordinating via guidance from the Manager or Director.
12. Willingness to evaluate new functionality that should be applied to existing products currently and for the future.
13. Monitor the release process and placement of projects or enhancements in a release by communicating an integration plan to the sustainment teams, as needed.
14. Work with GRT team to develop and update training programs and materials to assist in guest communications of new product features and updates.
15. Must have a strong desire for continuously performing ongoing competitive analysis, being a problem solver and escalating as needed any issues with Manager or Director.
16. Passion for cultivating partner relationships - with a keen ability to manage expectations that lead to successful contributions to the site, without compromising brand partnerships, site quality, or guest expectations.
17. Assist in development of new processes and tools such as (internal ticket tracking system)
18. Willingness to quickly shift on priority or direction under the guidance of the Manager or Director to help resolve high level guest or business needs.
1. BA/BS/BBA degree
2. 1-3 years of experience leading product management function or project management functions, preferably in an online marketing, digital marketing, web development, capacity. May be from any functional group: Creative, Technology, Business or Production.
3. Knowledge of product development and evaluation processes.
4. Experience taking new products to market within a small to large organization.
5. Professional Presentation and Communication skills.
6. Ability to build relationships, with a strong attention to detail
7. Agile methodology or SCRUM certification (preferred but not required)
