Digital Product Manager

Vitamin T is assisting our client in their search for a Digital Product Manager. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a ASAP start.
The Product Manager will help guide the product from conception to launch and then grow its impact in the market. Responsibilities include defining a product vision and strategy, working within the traditional business to gather and understand product deliverables, and working with engineering and design teams to execute that strategy.

Responsibilities:
Work in close collaboration with business owners to conceptualize and execute big-picture brand and product strategy while simultaneously aligning engineering capabilities with product direction
Manage the deliverables gathering process between an integrated team of stakeholders and various internal and external resources including internal stakeholders, customers and software engineers
Convert business deliverables into actionable tasks and instructions for the engineering team:
- Create/Update users flows
- Participate in Agile project inception and iteration meetings
- Write "Agile user stories" for feature additions and enhancements
- Write acceptance criteria
- Manage product backlog and user story priorities
- Be involved in story sign‐off, launch readiness, bug triage
Assume the role of product owner in the development process while working on a daily basis with business and engineering teams to make strategic and tactical decisions about product functionality; balancing appropriate tradeoffs between business goals, user goals, scalability/maintainability, time‐to‐market, and process efficiency
Insure that all quality controls are identified, in place, and reviewed throughout the product life cycle
Form collaborative working relationships with content partners, media companies, casting agencies, talent agencies and technology companies
Perform market research and competitive analysis if necessary, identify market trends
Drive product launch including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members

Qualifications:
-6+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years in product management, preferably in an Agile development environment
A proven track record of:
- Managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Maintaining end-to-end ownership ‐ deliverables gathering, scheduling, execution and timely delivery
- Developing product and marketing strategies and effectively communicating recommendations to executive management
-Experience in reviewing technical solution design and evaluation to ensure it meets business requirements and long-term product goals
-Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and mobile/web technologies
-Experience in Fashion industry desired
