Digital Product Manager (6-8 months)

Are you a Marketing pro with digital product or brand development experience? Are you looking to join a brand new exciting team that creates and operates cutting-edge products and services in the Financial Technology space? Well we have the opportunity of the year for you!

Our client, a creative, start-up style environment within a Fortune 500 company, (the best of both worlds!) is looking for a Digital Product Manager to join their team for a 6-8 month project.

This Product Manager will be responsible for defining user stories utilizing a big picture product view. This person serves as the liaison between customers, business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure common understanding of product needs.

Let’s talk about some of the candidate requirements!

*Required Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience product strategy -- customer journey mapping, user research, and user stories.
• Experience with financial, banking or payment / transactional system products.
• Experience building and launching consumer digital products on web and mobile platforms – (ideally in a regulated industry in which privacy and security are paramount).
• Experience working within an Agile environment.
• Prior experience working as a product owner, product manager, designer or business analyst and known for rolling up your sleeves.
• Understanding of how to use data and analytics to create a personalized experience and attract customers
• Knowledge of consumer products and passion around emerging technologies.
• You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or Information Systems

• Able to make trade-off decisions between possible and desirable, which requires a good sense of what is technically feasible.
• Work well collaboratively, influencing others and building trust
• Adaptable and calm under pressure
• Strong communicator

*In this role, you will:

• Collect customer and stakeholder input for technical requirements and product priorities
• Write requirements, user stories and manage a product roadmap
• Lead user acceptance testing sessions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure requirements are prioritized, implemented and validated
• Perform gap analysis
• Assess cross-project impacts and take steps to resolve issue
• Participate in process and quality improvement activities, and end of sprint and release retrospectives.
