Digital Entertainment Product Analyst, Marketing Strategy and Analytics
Looking for a talented, highly motivated individual with strong digital product analysis skills for a contractor role in the Digital Analytics team. This individual will be supporting the mobile entertainment product team by analyzing data, providing better understanding and insight of customer behavior and usage patterns, and developing actionable recommendations that support business objectives, improve the customer experience and engagement of entertainment apps.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify the “why” or “so what” from data that he/she distills from Adobe Analytics, traditional analytics tools and other sources and effectively communicate to business partners. Strong problem solving, technical analytic and communication skills are imperative.

• Perform quantitative analysis on entertainment app usage in conjunction with customer attributes to provide insights and actionable recommendations to digital product team on product improvements to promote customer engagement. Critically evaluate data to abstract
up from low-level information to general understanding.

• Formulate the analysis plan, determine the data requirements, extract and manipulate the data, conduct analyses, and develop a coherent story with clear, easy-to-follow conclusions, implications informed by knowledge of the business and actionable recommendations to senior management and to the working teams in a concise, organized fashion.
• Perform analysis and develop dashboards and reporting to monitor performance
• Effectively work with cross-functional teams and/or with various departments that include, but not limited to, mobile entertainment product group, marketing, business intelligence, and engineering

• Must possess at least 4-7 years of experience in data analytics or related field
• BS/BA in business, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related quantitative fields. An advanced degree is a plus, but not required.
• Must demonstrate extensive experience doing hands-on analysis and strategic thinking ability
• Must be proficient in Adobe Analytics (Omniture/SiteCatalyst/Discover), SAS and/or SQL, other relational database and web analytics tools.
• Experience with large transactional databases as well as online and web analytics is required – in particular, in support of product strategy.
• Experience in cable, broadcast, and/or television industry, or with video analytics a plus
• Experience in large media, technology, internet, ecommerce, subscription-based company a plus
• Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Must be able to work in fast-paced environment with constantly shifting priorities
• Must possess expert abilities in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Must possess exceptional communication skills – oral, written, and presentation
• Must possess the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, subject matter experts and other cross-functional team members within a large organization
