Digital Producer/ Project Manager

Awesome opportunity to join a fantastic digital agency as a Digital Producer/ Project Manager.

The Digital Producer is responsible for the management of multiple, concurrent interactive projects from discovery to completion and maintenance. Responsibilities include working closely with clients, designers, developers and others stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain project schedules, timelines and acquisition of key deliverables.
  • Manage the process to stay within the predetermined scope of the project.
  • Coordinate project scheduling with the production team to maintain efficiency within the work dock.
  • Clearly communicate key project goals and specifications to production team.
  • Project, track and manage project budgets.
  • Be proactive in identifying and communicating project risks.
  • Contribute to continual process improvement and participate in the discovery of better solutions.


  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Project Management processes and methodology.
  • Applied experience with managing the billable efficiency of a team.
  • Extremely quick minded, adaptable, detail oriented, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior ability to manage internal team expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional project teams within budgetary and schedule constraints.
  • Applied knowledge of web/application development lifecycle.
  • Able to handle stressful situations and deadline pressure.
  • Thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment.


  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of experience in an Interactive Agency environment
  • 2+ years of experience managing people, projects, budgets, capacity and schedules.
  • Programming/Database experience or hands-on knowledge (not required, but an advantage).
  • Experience with project management/time tracking/task management software. Strong skills with Microsoft Excel.
