Digital Producer

The Digital Producer is responsible for managing the digital team that collaborates on and

executes digital programs from start to finish, playing a key role in keeping our team involved,

integrated and the digital work front of mind and of the highest quality.  The ideal candidate

will have an exceptional understanding of the functions, processes, and production

requirements of digital deliverables with a specific focus on digital campaign deliverables such

as rich media banners, landing page destinations, emails and microsites. They will serve as a

coordinator and owner of the agency’s digital campaign work and partner with our Sr Digital

Producer who runs our larger web redevelopment projects. For the right person, we will make

sure that the balance of work is interesting, varied and engaging across both producers with

opportunities for professional growth and development.


You provide support for the digital team through professional expertise, interpersonal skills and

creative thinking. You build effective internal relationships, implement quality improvements

and ensure delivery of desired results. You provide direction, support and feedback for team

members and contribute to the achievement of client satisfaction as well as departmental and

strategic business objectives in accordance with agency values. You represent our

community and have the ability to multitask, working closely with partners within the agency to

meet client goals.


•   Have a strong understanding of all facets of digital campaign development including

strategies, design, planning, implementation, launch and analytics.

•   Inform and define creative executions and structure of digital projects, including paid media,

interactive campaign activations, campaign landing pages and site redesigns.

•   Understand and expand on existing and emerging web technologies including JavaScript,

Java, PERL, Flash, HTML5, and multimedia capabilities.

•   Defining project approach with key departments and development resourcing needs, plus

distributing project tasks and time-lines as well as managing the overall digital resources

•   Managing cross-functional teams and projects throughout the development and creative life

cycle with

an eye for risk mitigation

•   Understanding and following department processes, client business, and technical

requirements in

order to uphold best-in- class standards/practices and push for a high level of quality control

measures, adjusting for process drift as needed

•   Maintaining solid communication internally and externally by being exceptionally organized,


and prioritizing workload, and helping teams stay focused on key priorities, milestones, and


•   Negotiating time lines (both long-term and short-term) by prioritizing resources and

mitigating risk

by ensuring that quality control standards are adhered to and communicated throughout the


•   Ensuring all communication is complete, accurate, and timely - distilling complex discussions

into actionable next steps and communicating to appropriate parties

•   Coordinating teams to meet timing and budget requirements, including developing time

lines and monitoring projects for accuracy, efficiency, and functionality throughout the life cycle

of the program

•   Identifying and clearly communicating project issues to the internal team in order to achieve
