Digital Producer

A leading events and publishing company is looking for a pro-active, organised and conscientious Digital Producer to join the digital team at the heart of innovation and product development across the group. Key Responsibilities
The Digital Producer is responsible for delivering, maintaining and overseeing a range of projects and ongoing product management including websites, apps, email and various digital content platforms across the portfolio. The environment is fast paced, innovative, and results oriented.
You will have previous experience working with content, commercial and events teams to deliver and support a range of digital products. With a proven track-record of working with HTML, you will have a good understanding of the latest web technologies, a mobile first approach and ability to share digital best practice across the organisation.
Responsibilities
• To efficiently co-ordinated all digital projects for timely and accurate delivery.
• Support the full range of content production tasks across sites; providing support to other staff carrying out content production tasks and being the internal expert user on the range of platforms used (WebVision, ASP, Madgex, WordPress, DotMailer, DoubleClick, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Responsible for email template production; become the internal “expert user” on Dotmailer campaign management tool.
• Provision and circulation of monthly email and web analytics reporting.
• Providing back-up to the ad trafficking function using Google’s DoubleClick platform.
• Providing on-going support on websites to internal teams.
• Supporting and delivering technical requirements of the business for any digital related work
• Train other non-technical staff particularly marketers and editorial teams.
• Contributing to the company development standards working closely with the Digital Director.
• Maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market and position yourself and the company as a digital specialist.
• Constantly seeking to develop yourself by learning new technologies and keeping abreast of your markets developments.
Experience

Project Management qualifications/skills would be beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task
• Efficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, Email Clients)
• Working use of HTML/5 and ideally CSS3
• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills are essential
• Excellent experience scoping, planning, costing and timing of projects
• Willing to be a key part of the creative process and own the project from end-to-end
• Ability to evaluate and improve the production cycle
• Great attention to detail and a drive for perfection
• Superb communication skills and ability to influence colleagues and clients

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail – a proactive approach and a can-do attitude is key.
