Digital Optimisation Manager

An exciting new opportunity with a new start-up organisation where you will be responsible for driving the digital marketing performance and analytics for the business, shaping the product and marketing strategies. Operationalising data to drive informed digital campaigns to acquire and retain customers cost effectively; managing systems and analytics platforms; setting up and managing marketing reports and analysis across customer segmentation and insights, conversion, product and campaign optimisation.

Key outcomes

● Manage marketing reporting and dashboards to capture and analyse key metrics that provide insights into product performance and to optimise campaigns and conversions.
● Proactively analyse traffic, campaign performance, customer data, ROI, lifetime value, etc and communicate to identify gaps and opportunities
● Manage analytics, A/B and Multivariate testing to increase conversion through the product and work with the product team to implement recommendations
● Support with the setup of suitable tools for Digital Marketing, customer segmentation, triggered communications and performance analytics.
● Actively communicate insights to the wider organisation and manage the roadmap of data projects and subsequent insights through a structured project stream
● Use data insights to drive action plans that improve the performance, customer experience and overall efficiency of the company platforms; to ultimately increase customer satisfaction and/or help the business achieve its targets
● Support the service teams with initiatives that help the marketing team to drive a seamless end-to-end customer experience
● Work collaboratively with the wider product and marketing team as well as service and technology teams where required (including User Accessibility Testing)
● Build a strong team culture around the mission, vision and values of data-informed strategy.
● Feed insights into the strategy, acquisition campaigns and media budgets across many channels including SEM, SEO, performance display, social, mobile and content marketing
● Analysis of digital media performance and recommendations for proactive improvements to marketing investments
● Supporting the Partnerships Manager with sales tracking platforms, lead onboarding processes and proactive data analysis

Qualifications and experience

● 5+ years digital marketing experience with a track record in acquisition marketing and analytics in ecommerce businesses (experience with Google Analytics or similar will be highly regarded)
● Relevant Bachelor Degree
● Strong on acquisitions marketing
● Analytical and curious by nature. Insights led decision maker who enjoys being hands-on with data to drive smarter actions.
● Self-starter – used to working in agile /nimble environments and can work autonomously.
● Passionate about people and customer service
● Disruptive, progressive and has a talent for digital marketing
● Entrepreneurial mindset: adaptable, pragmatic, proactive, hands-on, strategic, analytical, and ambitious
● Data driven approach to marketing, comfortable with complex data, analysis and insights. Must be very focused on measurement through data and fast iteration through learning
● Strong understanding of marketing technology required to win in digital marketing
● Good at working within an ambiguous, fast paced environment – figuring it out and adapting as you go
● Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes
● A willingness to roll up sleeves to get it done
