Digital Media Specialist: Disney/ABC TV Group is seeking an experienced digital media specialist to join our company's nighttime team to manage the distribution of network content to our growing suite of managed digital products, social media platforms, online video services and MVPD partners.

This position also supports daily programming and publishing efforts for video and gaming content across Disney/ABC platforms and partner sites. We require a deep knowledge of digital distribution and video-focused websites.

This position is located in Burbank and is a contractor position that will work nights Thursdays-Mondays.


Responsibilities;

" Content Management
" Publish full episodes and short-form video content for original and acquired content on networks sites.
" Prepare and distribute video content for Disney/ABC online video partners. Upload and publish content on Disney and ABC YouTube accounts, and assist with daily playlisting and curation.
" Work with internal design teams on the development of branded artwork for our websites and apps.
" Enter metadata and into our delivery systems and perform QA and approval of video content before final delivery to partners.
" Work with video editors to define MVPD delivery priorities and content fulfillment.
" Schedule and launch video assets and artwork collateral and update their sequencing on a daily basis.
" Digital Support
" Work with Digital Media Managers, product and engineering leads to set up and test new partners and digital products.
" Collaborate with Producer of Social Media on distribution of content on branded social platforms.
" Proactively anticipate and mitigate risks as they arise, and serve as a first responder for troubleshooting technical issues within our video products and on partner sites; make sound, independent decisions and know when to escalate issues.
" Maintain high video and presentation standards for our digital platforms, and rigorously police our products to ensure a superior user experience


Qualifications;

" Bachelors degree, with Marketing, Television, or Digital Media focus.
" 3 years previous experience in a digital media related position required. Entertainment, multi-platform video and web-based project experience preferred.
" Thorough knowledge and experience publishing and promoting content on major media platforms.
" Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff.
" Must be able to independently prioritize, track and resolve issues concurrently, and work well under deadline pressure.
" Previous experience working in a video CMS required.
" Experience using Mac, PC, iOS, Android, Web based applications and services.
" Must have a passion for emerging technologies and products, and be an avid user of social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube with a solid understanding of the current feature set of each platform.
" A strong knowledge of and passion for Disney brands.
