Digital Media Planner

Job description:
Our client is in need of a Digital Media Planner onsite in their Huntington Beach location for the next 3 weeks. They're in need of an experienced professional able to hop into the project and make their pitch successful! Someone familiar with how to develop a plan for their advertisement that will get the most return will be qualified for this role! Start Date: 2/17 or 2/18 (Post interview!) Very immediate need
Duration: 3 weeks (potential extension)
Pay: Open
Experience: Ideally 5+ years. Anyone 3+ years is up for consideration
Location: Onsite, Huntington Beach, 40 hrs/week!

Responsibilities:

Conducting media planning research using standard tools (@Plan, AdRelevance, etc.)
Developing online media plans, recommendations and POVs
Conducting negotiations with media sales reps
Issuing and updating insertion orders
Trafficking ad tags and creative using 3rd party as server tools (DFA/Mediaplex)
Analyzing campaign performance and recommend necessary optimizations
Presenting to clients, as appropriate
Helping train Assistant Planners.
Resolving media invoice and ad service fee discrepancies


Requirements:

MUST have 3+ years of online media planning experience (5+ is preferred)
Additional experience with offline media is not mandatory, but desired.
Strong computer skills including online media research and planning tools: DoubleClick DFA, Nielsen-Netratings, and other applications such as Excel and Lotus Notes.
