Digital Media Jr. Analyst

Large Media and Entertainment company in New York is seeking a Jr. Digital Media Analyst to join their network TV group. This is a part-time role -- approximately 4 days/week. This analyst will support two managers on the team in pulling data and reports on TV viewership. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Will work on business side and consumption side of tv - pulling reports and doing analysis
  • Responsible for taking data and using it to create a story to drive revenue for the network
  • Use comScore and Neilsen to take data and run reports for the marketing teams and push initiatives based on those research analytics
  • Pull daily ad hoc  qualitative and quantitative surveys and report those up the chain
  • Basic support on market research segmenting such as survey 

Qualifications: 

  • Hunger for entertainment and TV watching patterns 
  • 1-2 years experience working in Analytics field (open to the type) 
  • Digital savvy in the media space and social media
  • Must have a good understanding of the space, that traditional TV is shifting more digital 
  • Strong Excel experience and Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • comScore Media Metrix is a plus 
  • Neilsen @Plan experience is a plus 
  • Omniture/Adobe Analytics experience is a plus
