Digital Media Analyst

We are looking for an awesome Digital Media Analyst for a 6 month contract position in the northern burbs. This individual will work with the interactive marketing team within e-business that focuses on driving incremental revenue from existing members. This Digital Media Analyst owns the display media channel. Responsibilities include all aspects of campaign execution including audience definition, test and control design, media targeting rules using 1st party, 3rd party and contextual data, analysis, reporting, optimization and insights.

Key responsibilities include:
• Effectively execute project plans throughout the full lifecycle of several Display Media campaigns according to established procedures, process, and success expectations
• Responsible for growth of display media strategies to drive key performance metrics such as card usage and ROI goals
• Develop detailed test plans and work with media agency to deploy tactics and strategies to optimize media
• Analyzes and forecasts the impact of the different criteria used to target media campaigns and refine these to improve future campaign performance
• Develops compelling and insightful trends and recommendations. Communicates results effectively with the various stakeholders
• Liaise with internal and media analytic teams on a daily basis to optimize the performance of the campaigns and create reporting for continued measurement
• Interface with IT business partners regularly for tag deployment and other technology solution for media integration and launch
Skills Needed:
• Bachelors degree in marketing or related field required
• 3+ years of direct response digital media experience, including strategy development, program execution, and performance analysis and measurement
• Strong analytical skills required
• Experience using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and/or Adobe/Omniture SiteCatalyst strongly preferred
• Proficient with MS Office products. Advanced Excel user required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Digital agency experience preferred
• Understanding of user-centered web design and user experience principles
• Ability to lead and influence senior leadership in digital strategy and make recommendations grounded in strong business case development
• Motivated team player with a strong work ethic
• Strong understanding of trends and best practices in online marketing, CRM, measurement and digital analytics industry
