Digital Media Analyst

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for research and analyze information to improve the digital performance of our campaigns and the brands we represent. The work requires you to change gears quickly. Going from actionable reports, best-practice case studies, analyzing current trends in digital media, and custom analytics reports. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of digital metrics; both from a brand and direct response perspective. You should have the ability to present your findings to a broad audience - from technical experts to marketing communications brand managers. You will work closely with the media planning, search and brand strategy teams to determine KPIs, reporting methodologies and forecasting tools that tie back to campaign and brand goals. Beyond creating these reports, you will be tasked with analyzing the information and bringing forward insights and suggesting optimizations to future performance. The ideal candidate must be able to sift through layers of data to discern the critical, then analysis in a clear and concise manner to internal and external clients.

Skills and Qualifications
• BS/BA Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in online media or in a comparable web and/or business role.
• Expert knowledge of DoubleClick/DART, Omniture and other 3rd party reporting tools.
• Familiarity with qualitative digital metrics companies preferred (Vizu, Dynamic Logic, ComScore, Dimestore).
• Exposure to mobile, social, tablet measurement approaches as well as understanding of role of multi-touch attribution in media evaluation.
• Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications.
• A demonstrated interest in digital media.
• Proficiency in research, writing, and quantitative analysis, with ability to convey and package technical findings in layman’s terms.
• Self-starter with hearty work ethic, strong time management skills and an attention to detail.
• Passionate, hard-working individual excited to contribute to the agency and help us build our organization.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

This is a 6-8 week temp assignment. You must be available to work onsite in Costa Mesa.
