Digital Media Analyst / Web Marketing Analyst

Job Description
Our firm specializes in the design and execution of marketing programs for clients across a wide swath of industries including financial services, consumer products, B2B and healthcare. We're looking for a Digital Media Analyst who will undertake analysis and reporting for marketing programs and other digital performance, touching account, executive, and client teams.

Responsibilities Include
Interpreting data about client web site, app, and/or media campaign performance and crafting the corresponding weekly or monthly reports
Collaborating with campaign managers to gain a meaningful understanding of results; going beyond showing data to instead show insights
Co-presenting (with the Media VP and other senior leadership) on results and insights during client and internal meetings
Responding to ad hoc data requests relating to client and internal questions

Investigation. Must have a spirit of curiosity and commitment to gaining a meaningful understanding of results and business opportunities. Should possess a natural inclination to anticipate questions and unspoken fears that stakeholders might have, and a commitment to proactively think through and research how to address them.
Critical Thinking. Must possess the ability to extract good insights from data or information that may be complex or ambiguous. Must be able to clearly articulate your logic and be skillful at leading conversations where performance implications are being discussed or debated
Data-Driven Decision Making. Must be able to defend recommendations based on concrete results; must consistently consider the right set of data in the right way in order to support sound recommendations; must maintain overall perspective on how results relate to project goals and objectives—not just common benchmarks
Storytelling. Candidate should be a natural storyteller with a talent for understanding what the narrative needs to be and skill around crafting and delivering the story
Other Skills/Experience
Presentation Skills and Personal Polish (must be highly presentable and articulate given the client-facing nature of the role; must be 100% confident around senior executives)
Writing and Editorial Skills (must be a clear, pithy writer who is a good self-editor)
Excel (must be proficient in using pivot tables and functions in Excel to parse large, uncut data sets)
