Digital Marketing/Merchandising Specialist

AQUENT'S client is looking for a sharp, analytical, enthusiastic, creative, and results-oriented marketing and merchandising professional to help meet business objectives and create innovative customer experiences. Our client is known for their rich corporate culture and is regarded as an outstanding place to work. This is a six month contract, but this client is constantly looking for individuals they can work with on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities of this role include driving awareness and adoption of core shopping functionality and discovery features by developing strategic new programs and identifying new opportunities based on customer and business data. You will also drive additional engagement with editorial curation and promotions, always measuring and analyzing campaign performance to iterate and improve. The right candidate will demonstrate a highly creative mind, a sound business sense, and a knack for getting things done in close collaboration with technical and business teams within the company.

Key Accountabilities:

Develop and implement bold, creative promotions and programs, marketing communications, and special projects throughout engagement channels to advance member experience and drive unit sales and revenue per member
Conceive and write editorial features and promotional copy leveraging product expertise for on-site and email promotions and programs, maintaining company standards and creativity.
Build promotional pages and incentives via systems tools
Partner with the Product, IT, CRM, and User Experience teams to define scalable solutions for targeted and dynamic content capabilities and opportunities within the member experience
Work with design and editorial teams to ensure that member marketing communication goals are met
Partner with the Analytics team to analyze campaign and program performance
Liaise with international counterparts to share best practices and analytics
Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience in online marketing/merchandising
Strong organizational, managerial, and communication skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results
Strong analytical capability and a solid understanding of success metrics
Ability to think both strategically and tactically
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge MS Office
Must be a self-starter, creative thinker, and quick learner

Preferred Qualifications:
E-commerce experience
Basic HTML skills and a general understanding of web development
Background in online entertainment
Education: Bachelors Degree or higher
