The Digital Marketing Web Developer will be joining and contributing to the evolution of the Americas digital marketing team at a growing medical device company that provides true value in the lives of patients and the businesses that distribute our products. The digital team is a dynamic group of digital veterans that is partnering with marketing experts and creative talent to improve how we reach and engage with our customers. The candidate we are looking for has a strong background in web development but also experienced and passionate about software and working with marketing technology platforms. The role will be a balance of managing our marketing technology platforms to deliver marketing campaigns and jumping in to do hands on web development from scratch when needed for email creation, microsite development and daily troubleshooting.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES • Support the Web Technology team with marketing programs and campaigns that have digital marketing requirements including email, website content, microsite development, form creation, newsletters and webinars. • Author content in the company content management system, Adobe Experience Manager. Leveraging existing and new components and templates to publish new pages, assets or content across US, Latin America and Canada websites. • Hands on coding for web applications, microsites, and database integrations using HTML, CSS, jQuery, PHP and general front-end web development skills. Application of these core web development skills to troubleshoot and maintain the functionality and performance of the website. • Build and execute email campaigns in Marketo and Silverpop including new email template development, web form development, landing page creation and testing/deliverability. • Manage core Marketo campaign set-up including distribution list logic, campaign flow and SFDC sync settings and managing the automated assignment of program membership statuses like opened and converted. • Daily technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis of technical issues, along with managing testing and bug tracking/resolution for new functionality. Use of webmaster tools for debugging and optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES • Collaborate on cross-platform digital marketing projects including email marketing, website management, landing page creation, webcast support and marketing automation • Support development of landing pages, or microsites in Wordpress, Marketo and Adobe Experience Manager. • Locally maintain multi-language websites for www.resmed.com • Support development of lead scoring and nurturing models in Marketo and Silverpop • Develop landing page forms that map via API to database like Salesforce.com and Marketo or local MySQLs. • Understand current cookie tracking methods and applying hidden field values in forms for improved data collection • Identify opportunities to evolve the use of web and digital marketing technologies and best practices. • Accountable for meeting project deadlines and collaborating with creative services and marketing teams on project definition, scoping and delivery.
