Digital Marketing Strategist

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience and fanatical passion for digital media to join our client's MarCom team. The Digital Marketing Strategist will be responsible for the company’s digital marketing presence. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record who has organized and orchestrated successful cross-channel digital marketing campaigns utilizing a variety of mediums. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and possess a thorough understanding of marketing concepts.

Qualifications and Experience
Provides top-level strategy and business consultation understanding the needs and desired outcomes of organization. This individual will work with internal teams to deliver digital marketing strategies and campaigns as well as perform duties such as SEO, keyword research, PPC campaigns, creative concepting, analytics analysis, and tactical implementation. Achieving highest level of satisfaction and ensuring the on time, on budget, high quality delivery of programs, digital marketing assets.

• A Bachelors degree or higher preferably in Journalism or English
• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills are required
• Three to seven years of professional digital media expertise with a strong tactical implementation of digital cross-channel marketing campaigns
• Deep understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Example success stories are required.
• Documented procedures on generating traffic, organic and otherwise using various proven methods with the end goal of increasing SEO to at least three company web sites.
• Proven track record of online conversions
• Deep understanding of social media universe including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Delicious, Digg, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etc…We’re looking for a social media addict who maintains a personal mix of participatory expertise from among these channels
• Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media (really send the links)
• Independently and actively manage all aspects of the project: scope, issues/risks, schedule, quality, and online communication on a daily basis
• Analyzes outcomes and performance indicators for digital marketing campaigns using InBound Marketing tools
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation: project plan, brief, status reports, risk assessment plans, change requests, and resource requirements
• Manages and implement projects across various digital marketing tactics including email, search, mobile, display, and social
• Actively listening and engaged to ensure clear understanding of objectives, issues, concerns
• Ability to communicate internally and externally with professionalism, courtesy and credibility
• Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound
• Brings to the position outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment
• Ability to work in a rapidly growing, fast-paced and dynamic company

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Work closely with the VP, MarCom and Creative Director, team to conceptualize and execute projects.
• Creative problem-solving.
• Assertive, proactive, and confident creative vision in a collaborative team environment.
• A thorough understanding of what constitutes best-in-class design and the ability to effectively communicate your ideas to MarCom, Business Development and Executive teams.
• Other key qualities include a positive attitude, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, work efficiently under pressure with a careful attention to detail, a strong work ethic and good sense of humor in a very fast paced environment.
