Digital Marketing Specialist

Our F500 payment technology client is looking for a sharp Digital Marketing professional for an exciting opportunity on a growing team.
This role is a 1 year contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time.

This person will be supporting the Global Director and assisting the digital marketing team with different tasks. In addition, this person will be working in a fast paced, dynamic environment with others in a cross-functional team. Under general direction of the Global Director, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for updating and maintaining content on the global websites and assist with various digital marketing tasks including, but not limited to: landing page optimization (A/B, Multivariate, etc), graphics editing, social media, and SEO. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Web Analytics Manager, reviewing site statistics to identify and implement improvements in order to boost lead conversions; improve SEO, and enhance our PPC and other inbound marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a corporate web marketing setting and have a mix of content management, user experience design, social media, and SEO skills, as well as a desire to keep abreast of innovative B2B digital marketing trends. The position requires flexibility in working across multiple projects concurrently, with an ability to shift priorities to support cross-regional teams.


Responsibilities

- Support the creation and management of global digital marketing campaigns using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS
- Work with regional marketing teams to track and manage social media content across various channels
- Support the development of various digital assets, including graphics
- Monitor and update SEO meta data to improve natural search results globally
- Contribute to improvements to architecture, navigation and information design of key sections of our global websites
- Serve as an internal resource on social media and digital marketing best practices, staying abreast of industry changes, consistently sharing new insights with Digital Marketing team and regional constituents
- Ensure all digital designs and content meet the style guide and graphics standards
- Perform additional web marketing tasks as assigned
- Use independent judgment and initiative in time-sensitive situations to meet deadlines
- Effectively organize, prioritize and follow-up on work assignments

Skills and Experience

- BA/BS and 3-5 years digital marketing work experience
- 2+ years in a marketing function in a corporate, preferably global organization
- Working knowledge of CMS systems (required), preferably Adobe
- Proficiency in creating and editing HTML; JavaScript and CSS a plus
- Proficiency with design programs including Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency with A/B testing tools
- Knowledge of social media and SEO best practices
- Ability to identify web-related technical problems and work with development team to troubleshoot
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with others in a cross-functional team
- Positive attitude, tactful, and a self-starting contributor with positive references from prior marketing/IT colleagues
