Digital Marketing Specialist

A well known client of ours is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their cutting edge team in Bethesda, MD. This person will be primarily responsible for marketing efforts and supporting product development tasks for a digital advertising platform, which is targeted to field ecommerce, marketing manager and franchisees. This role will require an understanding of marketing, communications and project management; while working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive project execution. This innovative and talented digital team is focused on improving and implementing technology that supports & enhances marketing programs.

Breakdown of the role:

1) Product Marketing
Responsible for the outbound marketing activities for the digital platform which includes:
-Crafting of messaging and positioning for product(s)
-Creation of marketing plans and execution
-Incentive ideation and execution through marketing & communication vehicles
-Overseeing and reporting marketing tactics and communication channels
-Ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into key customer benefits
-Ensures that marketing is helping drive achievement of KPIs (# of new customers, product adoption, usage rates, etc.)

2) Internal and External Communication
-Creates & develops communication (email, ppt., newsletters, etc.) to agencies, product customers and internal and external stakeholders.
-Drafts updates on multiple communication channels
-Researches customer needs and addresses questions and concerns
-Establishes relationships with customers and stakeholders

3) Project/Product Management and Execution
-Support initiatives for digital acquisition marketing to improve efficiency and scalability of existing and/or new projects/products
-Collaborate with cross-functional and external partner teams to ensure development aligns with business requirements
-Provide training and support to consumers; provide guidance on usage and features
-Support roadmap for on-going enhancements
-Work with vendors to define new features, coordinate development and launch
-Monitor schedules and financials to ensure delivery on time and within budget
-Collaborate with iT and product teams to coordinate needed program launches and enhancements
-Responsible for regular reporting (i.e. pulling of metrics from reporting systems, summary of results, etc.) of key products and initiatives
-Manage and support other projects as needed

4) Work Teams and Vendor Relationship Management
-Support relationship with vendor; working closely on platform performance and feature enhancements
-Communicates key customer needs in order to affect product priorities and enhancements
-Drive endorsement and adoption of digital advertising platform and other products supporting digital acquisition programs by cultivating relationships with cross functional teams
-Evaluates competitive landscape & conduct vendor searches as needed.
