Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the implementation of global digital marketing programs to meet the following key business objectives:

Provide high quality leads to the client’s sales teams and their distribution network.
Increase awareness with OEM customers.
Position the client as the leader in its segment and the supplier of choice.
Implement marketing campaigns that create engagement and trust with customers.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Utilize web analytics and make recommendations to maximize ROI for the organization. Provide project management of campaigns and initiatives.
Serve as primary user of the Marketo marketing automation tool to develop and execute digital marketing efforts. Support global users and train associates on use of the tool for campaign execution and performance analytics.
Execute SEO and PPC campaigns through 3rd party provider including: keyword selection, development of customized landing page, thank you pages and customer emails. Evaluate results and implement actions for continuous campaign improvement.
Execute digital advertising campaigns to promote content and new products to build awareness and for lead generation efforts. Work closely with the Marcom Specialist and marketing teams to select media and establish success metrics. Interact with creative agency to develop advertisements and develop landing pages with unique tracking codes to capture customer leads.
Improve product and company exposure through affiliate industry websites and maximize lead generation through the channel. Work directly with partners to evaluate ways to increase market position through paid and un-paid promotion. Track leads and ensure successful campaign set-up.
Work closely with the Global Digital Marketing Manager to develop successful lead generating marketing campaigns.
Develop testing strategy of marketing creative, product positioning and landing pages to optimize effectiveness of campaigns.
Work with outside providers and internal team to drive visibility improvement and target email campaigns at focused audiences.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and manage the marketing database of customer email addresses from online and offline activities including the management of the company privacy policy, opt in/opt out language and legal compliance with email rules across all global websites.
Interface with CRM database (Salesforce.com) to track customer interaction, manage leads and to distribute internal content to the Gems Sensors Sales team.
Develop and implement lead nurturing programs and with scoring models to drive leads to qualified opportunities.
Assist in market research, data gathering, VOC to support overall company marketing efforts.
Conduct competitive assessment and keep aware of industry trends.
Additional projects and responsibilities as required.


Desired Skills and Experience

Experience driving results through digital marketing, especially through search engine optimization (SEO) and pay per-click (PPC) campaigns.
Strong business acumen – ability to quickly understand Gems Sensors strategies and engage in furthering these in a digital format.
Experienced with testing of marketing campaigns to improve campaign performance.
Excellent communication – ability to be a good teacher of digital marketing tools.
Experienced working with Google Analytics.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, web analytics, or related field.


Technical savvy – not afraid or shy of digging into technical details as needed to execute responsibilities.
Willing to travel approximately 10%, with potential for international travel.
