Digital Marketing Specialist

Position Description

Our client, a leading financial services organization is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join their growing internal team on a contract to hire basis.


  • Manage email marketing campaigns for Marketing Department, including planning, targeting, set-up, testing, execution, reporting and optimization.

  • Work with key stakeholders to align the email marketing strategy to the Firm’s overall strategy and ensure the marketing objectives of the channels are supported.

  • Develop email marketing standards based on best practices and data driven recommendations

  • Create email and web reporting dashboards and custom reports analyzing campaign performance in order to provide actionable recommendations and deliver continuous improvements to our email programs and website.

  • Champion continuous advancement of our electronic marketing features and capabilities including targeting, personalization, template development in collaboration with multiple stakeholders: development teams, designers, business teams and more.

  • Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards related to email and web.

  • Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree or Certification in Digital Strategy, Web Development/Design or related field

  • 4+ years of email marketing experience, including strategy, implementation, analytics and reporting.

  • Knowledge of best practices for email creative and templates, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies.

  • Strong knowledge of HTML and ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly.

  • Strong project management skills: experience coordinating cross-functional teams, delivering results and meeting tight deadlines

  • General understanding of the Financial Services industry

  • Demonstrated knowledge of web development and site management applications.

  • Demonstrated understanding of effective design techniques and standards including user interface design, graphics creation, production, and optimization for the web.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels in an organization.

  • Planning, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.

  • Knowledge of Oracle/eMOD/ODM a plus

  • Familiarity with planning, implementing and analyzing online marketing initiatives across multiple online channels

  • Experience designing and executing online customer experiences and/or implementing online marketing programs
