Digital Marketing Specialist

Our healthcare client looking for an integrated marketing genius who will focus on developing SEO and SEM strategy but will also understand how to execute basic digital marketing like banner ads and email.

You will support the execution of multichannel marketing strategies and plans through effective cross-channel, integrated marketing campaigns that drive profitable membership growth, retention, and engagement for the business. You’ll be a critical part of the Marketing Delivery team and have a range of expertise from technical to creative. But above all you’ll be customer focused and understand which channels to leverage for which customer. You’ll have a clear understanding of online marketing and have deep knowledge of SEO and SEM strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Provides insights into best practices for SEO and SEM.
• Manages the SEO/SEM vendor relationship to ensure we meet our annual goals.
• Provides input into building and executing on the annual Search strategy roadmap.
• Supports the design and development of online marketing assets (display ads, email, landing pages, etc.).
• Direct our SEO vendor to assist with management of Natural Search program, including:
o Keyword research to identify words for targeting.
o On-page optimization copy.
o Technical site audits and link profile analysis to identify opportunities.
• Direct our SEM agency to assist with management of Paid Search program, including:
o Search campaign creation and implementation, optimization & analysis.
o Keyword development and management, creative writing, quality assurance.
o Identification of areas for improved efficiencies and growth.
• Support analytics team in analyzing and reporting out on SEO and PPC data.
• Work closely with a variety of stakeholders (Online & Mobile, Content Strategists, etc.) to implement site changes.
• Support set-up, quality assurance and tracking of promotions in search campaigns.
• Monitor search sales performance and monthly performance reports.
• Assist Marketing Managers on special projects and initiatives.

Education/Requirements:

• B.S. or B.A. degree in marketing/business, economics, computer science, statistics or related area preferred. A minimum of 1 year in Search Marketing.
• Understanding of basics of email, display, and other digital channels.
• Keen awareness of the latest in digital and Search technology and how to best leverage for marketing programs.
• Demonstrated ability to develop SEO/SEM strategy.
• Experience working in large, highly-matrixed companies.
• Excellent cross-functional team, project and organizational skills with attention to details.
• Ability to multitask with multiple deadlines and/or milestone requirements.
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Must be proficient with computer skills; must be savvy using the internet and online business tools, research sources and social media sites.
• Ability to navigate web-based interfaces quickly and accurately; familiarity with HTML preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Excel Skills. Excel skills including usage of Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.
• Ability to write compelling ad copy.
• Familiarity with various search marketing keyword research tools.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented professional office environment.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and deliver work product in a professional manner.
• Experience using Google Ad-Words preferred but not required.
• Familiar with Search tools like Conductor a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems a plus.
