Digital Marketing Specialist

Established regional event presentation organization is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to facilitate and coordinate online marketing activities ranging from banner ad design, placement and tracking, to search engine optimization website content coordination utilizing a customized CMS. Ideal candidate is a self-starter both creative and analytical, with the ability to balance multiple priorities. This position will work with the marketing manager to carry out a variety of marketing initiatives.

This position is campaign coordinator, project manager, and data analyst. Essential to success in the role is the ability to manage priorities, quickly switching between creative and analytical projects, while compiling content from multiple departments and maintaining organized project plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the set-up, analysis, optimization, tracking and overall coordination of digital marketing programs
• Facilitate maintenance, tracking and up-to-date content of website utilizing a customized content management system.
• Take ownership of performance analysis of digital campaigns (strong quantitative skills are required)
• Research and recommend best practices from analytics, ongoing testing, and historical programs.
• Development and deployment of email marketing campaigns and database maintenance, oversight of all online advertising efforts
• Analysis and reporting of web, mobile web and email traffic data and performance insights
• Work with web development company to oversee website redesign and rebranding implementation
Work with web development company ongoing for content of mobile application, SMS marketing campaigns
• Assist Box Office team with set up of e-commerce online ticketing
• Occasional support duties which include answering phones, customer service and other administrative duties

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS in marketing, communications or related field required.
• 3-5 years of consumer digital marketing or advertising experience
• Hands-on experience creating and managing campaigns across display, search, social, and mobile channels
• Experience working with digital advertising and analytics software and tools: Google Adwords, Microsoft Adcenter, Google Analytics, etc.
• Proven interactive content development experience; ability to write marketing copy for web applications
• Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis
• Ability to successfully execute short term objectives while working on long term projects/goals
• High level of attention to detail, spreadsheet compilation and outstanding organizational skills are a must
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, work with a cross functional team, and adapt to changing business needs
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Requires a high level of experience with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Adobe Suite. Proficiency in Google AdWords and Google Analytics.
Must have a basic level of HTML experience, ability to work on the PC platform.
