A really exciting opportunity has come up with the world's leading entertainment and media agency. As part of the global organisations network, the companies offer an unparalleled client roster; strategic partnerships with sponsors and brands; and marquee assets across sports, entertainment, events, music and fashion.

In this role you will be responsible for the development and execution of digital media campaigns across the Australian business.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be supporting the Display, Mobile and Paid Social initiatives including all planning, execution, optimisation, reporting and relevant day to day communications for events including some instantly recognisable brands across Melbourne.

This newly created position reports to the Digital Marketing Director and is part of a small but growing team. You will require the ability to research, build and recommend media support for outlined digital strategies across multiple verticals, with a primary focus on driving consumer revenue through ticket sales and participation.

Some key responsibilities...

Plan and manage a digital (search, display, social) campaigns from start to finish with moderate supervision

Work with the business unit and digital team to manage campaign timings, delivering all deliverables to agreed-upon deadlines

Oversight of bid management, campaign builds, and ad copy/creative developed by in-house team and/or third parties/freelance creatives

Managing day-to-day campaign status, including the understanding of key performance drivers and ability to provide actionable optimization recommendations

Draft and prepare updates and recommendations to share with the supervisor and business

Compile data for wrap up reporting and case studies based on campaign performance

Support the development of campaign tracking and reporting documents (execution, pacing documents)

Identify opportunities for budget reallocation and future testing of varying opportunities

Some key requirements...

2-3 years relevant digital media buying and planning experience is required

Understanding of direct response social media advertising, especially Facebook & Instagram

Experience with SEO planning and optimisation

Strong analytic skills, with the ability to identify optimisation opportunities 

Background in digital reporting, specifically multi channel

General knowledge of the sports environment and entertainment industry

Solid understanding of CRM, DMP, DSP integrations
