Digital Marketing Specialist

Our client is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their marketing team! This is a full time, permanent position and sits onsite in their Chelmsford, MA office (no work from home ability). This role reports directly to the Marketing Communications Manager.

This is a brand new role. The Marketing Communications Manager was recently brought on board and he is building out his team. There are 5 subgroups within marketing, including groups like business development, events/trade shows, and more. The goal is to make it all centralized with specialists who focus on specific parts of the marketing puzzle.

Job Description:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives and customer needs into comprehensive digital strategies.
Work with the marketing team to raise the visibility of meaningful content via the right digital channels so that it can be more easily found and consumed by target audiences.
Evaluate the needs of the market, research customer trends, and turn that into effective ways to reach people.
Help develop, implement, and evaluate SEM/SEO strategies—incorporating best practices that keep the company at the top of the search rankings.
Identify opportunities for PPC advertising campaigns and help to implement and monitor them.
Provide analysis and reports to demonstrate effectiveness of campaigns and return on investment.
Research new media opportunities that benefit the business such as new mobile technologies and social media enhancements.
Regularly conduct research on keywords, search engine algorithms, and website analytics.
Use analytics software to monitor the performance of campaigns and make recommendations for improvements.
Liaise with counterparts at corporate and other offices in order to learn about, share, and implement company policy, new initiatives, and best practices.
Assist in developing processes and standards surrounding digital marketing practices.
Help to expand our message reach and establish our communications as premier sources for industry and company-related information.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic/Web Design or other related field
Minimum 3-5 years relevant marketing experience (digital marketing, web analytics, etc.)
Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, email marketing, marketing automation, Google AdWords/PPC advertising and social media
Experience with Google Analytics and other tools for campaign measurement
Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation software like Salesforce and Pardot
A very basic understanding of coding, HTML, and other languages like JavaScript and PHP
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency


Must be able to travel up to 15% (trade shows, industry events, etc.) All employees are sent to the HQ in Sweden for a week in the first 6 months of employment
