Digital Marketing Specialist – Email & Social Media

Vitamin T has a client who is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to work within its newly developed Digital Marketing team, working within a specific brand. This position, is responsible for curating, creating, and publishing relevant, contextual, and personalized content via social media & email to attract, engage, and retain specific audiences. Must possess strong attention to detail, creativity, project management, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Help implement and enhance the company’s digital marketing ecosystem (SRT, ESP, SMS)
- Conceptualize and manage promotions including strategy, activation, and fulfillment
- Partner with the Customer Service and Operations teams to escalate and resolve inquiries and complaints
- Build and run regular campaign-specific reporting (daily, weekly, monthly); analyze performance data, make recommendations and deliver ad-hoc projects
- Provide reporting on internal KPI’s – identifying opportunities for growth and improving efficiency
- Help track digital marketing attribution
- Work with internal stakeholders (marketing, operations, finance, IT) and external partners (agencies, vendors) responsible for campaign execution
- Curate, create, and publish content to social media platforms
- Continuously monitor, measure, and report social media activities, trends, and campaign results and delivering insights to drive continuous improvement and reinvestment strategies
- Influencer identification, outreach, and management
- Measuring overall content effectiveness by reporting success metrics
- Research new social media platforms for relevance
- Execute trend analysis, monitoring, and competitive benchmarking
- Manages promotional email campaigns including creative, development, audience segmentation, testing, deployment, and optimization
- Responsible for developing and leveraging technical systems (data, templates, automations, processes) to drive efficiencies and enable the execution of product, promotional, and trigger email campaigns
- Analyzes all aspects of email program and campaign performance, providing recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness

Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience managing social media and email
- Strong competency and experience with using social media, personally and professionally
- Experience with key technology enablers (required):
*Social media relationship and monitoring tools (Sprinklr, Percolate, Radian6 or similar)
*Email service provider (ExactTarget, SilverPop, or similar)
*Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
- Understanding of HTML and CSS
- Experience managing an email database and lists
- Strong knowledge of best practices for email creative, segmentation, dynamic content, testing methodologies, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM regulations
- Demonstrated ability to grow sales, increase conversion, and acquire new customers through digital marketing
- Understanding of digital marketing best practices and the impact on sales
- Strong analytical capacity
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of industry guidelines and best practices
- Demonstrated flexibility – adapts and welcomes a changing work environment while meeting company and department milestones
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be excited for change as our company grows
- Experience in quantifying marketing impact and campaign performance, including but not limited to ROI analyses
- CPG experience is a plus
- Experience with the Scouting organization preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, or communications required

Compensation:
The Digital Marketing Specialist’s compensation will include:
- A base salary
- A bonus, based on performance goals
