Digital Marketing Planner

Own planning and successful execution of Digital Marketing campaigns (integrated/ online only/ ad-hoc)
Helps define digital marketing strategy - Be a trusted advisor to business segments on leveraging eCommerce new/ current capabilities to leapfrog competition and drive business goals
Primary eCom interface to business segments, Marketing Communication, product marketing, and supplier marketing.
Track campaign effectiveness, drive campaign optimization, and generate insights/ lessons learned
Provide a customer-centric perspective to all work, ensuring the brand’s ability to resonate with the target customer and meet the customers’ expectations
Drive continuous improvement of campaign planning and execution processes.

Strategy & Plan:
Proactively work with Marketing and eCommerce partners to anticipate business needs and leverage new/ current capabilities to achieve business goals
Set expectations for Digital marketing campaigns – in terms of business goals to be me
Lead planning discussions with eMarketing, merchandising, offline marketing, and other teams
Built marketing campaign plans with onsite/ offsite campaign tactics
Ensure insights from past campaign and media mix are incorporated into campaign plans
Work with other planners, eMarketing, Merchandising, Marketing Communication, and other eCom teams to ensure alignment across campaigns
Explore and pursue incremental business segment specific eCom investment opportunities

Execute:
Supports Associate Digital Marketing Planner in orchestrating the execution of campaign plan (onsite, offsite, and offline)
Monitor progress, drive in-flight optimization, and ensure campaign goals are met
Regularly communicate campaign progress to stakeholders
Track any risks/ issues during campaign execution and drive steps for mitigation
Measure
Update stakeholders on campaign performance, lessons learned, drive improvements
Helps Associate Digital Marketing planner improve the quality of insights/ analysis
Reviews campaign planning and execution process to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements:

• 6+ years of direct experience in B2B/ B2C small-medium multi-channel marketing campaign planning and execution

• 4+ years of client engagement/ agency/ account management experience
• Strong analytical skills required – ability to translate reports/ data into insights
• Experience managing onsite tactics OR Merchandising a plus
• Experience with multi-channel marketing platform – UNICA, ELOQUA, Siebel, Marketo a Plus
• Excellent creative, client services, and communication skills and ability to present to various teams with different levels of online exposure
• Proven ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams, and segments, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
• Knowledge of interactive marketing trends, concepts and practices
• Bachelors in Marketing, Management or related disciplines; MBA a plus

Reports to: Manager Digital Marketing Planning
Works closely with eMarketing, Merchandising, Marketing Communication, and other business units
Employee will be working from the Lake Forest, IL office
Physical demands encompass typical day-to-day job functions of a traditional office environment
