Digital Marketing Planner

Support and in some cases lead the operation of the current consumer websites to support the Interactive Marketing Manager and Planner during the redesign project.

This position would entail reviewing and obtaining approval on creative designs, confirming business requirements, user acceptance testing website updates, and other related Marketing Planner responsibilities related to the support of the consumer websites.

In addition, the Interactive Manager and Planner may request support on consulting with brand interactive marketing counterparts to leverage best practices and other enterprise level services.

The overall objective of these areas of support and consulting services is to ensure the current consumer websites are sufficiently maintained during the redesign project which will consume a majority of the Interactive Manager’s and Planner’s time.

The position will interface with the creative agency of record, internal and Legal departments, internal/external technical teams, and team counterparts. Some of the key projects will include supporting model changeover, updates to the vehicles as well as accessories, promotion updates, and vehicle configurator and purchase process functionalities.

In conjunction with Interactive Manager and Planner, this position will support research into other auto manufacturer’s interactive marketing products/programs as well as Interactive Marketing Groups best practices and enterprise level services to enhance the redesign project contributions.

The Marketing Planner Consultant requires skills in interactive (digital) marketing, experience in mobile and tablet website deliveries, experience in automotive industry, and excellent written/oral presentation and communication skills.

Essential Functions (listed in order of function weight):
• Managing day-to-day operations supporting maintenance and update for the current consumer websites. Reviewing and obtaining approval on creative designs, confirming business requirements, user acceptance testing website updates and other related Marketing Planner responsibilities related to the support of the consumer websites.
• In addition, the Interactive Manager and Planner may request support on consulting with brand interactive marketing counterparts to leverage best practices and other enterprise level services.

Additional Responsibilities:
Business Analysis
• Reviews and analyzes tactical marketing plans.
• Support Interactive Marketing by working on marketing campaigns and strategies.
• Supports Interactive Marketing by reviewing weekly, ad-hoc, and monthly dashboard metrics for marketing effectiveness and providing summary suggestions for marketing activities to meet Scion marketing goals and objectives.

Marketing Support
• Develops tactical marketing plans.
• Supports Interactive Marketing by working on marketing campaigns and strategies.
• Creates PowerPoint presentations for marketing meetings and reviews talking points.
• Acts as a facilitator between various departments towards the Interactive marketing effort.

Job Requirements:
• Strong oral and written skills
• Experience developing business processes
• Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint

Job Preferences:
• Automotive industry experience preferred.

• Will work as needed on product/technical documentation.


Work Location and Work Hours:
• This position will require on-site presence.
• This position will require full-time presence during business hours (8am-5pm or 9am to 6pm).
