Digital Marketing/ Paid Search Specialist

6 month consultative contract providing strategic leadership for digital marketing plan related to pay-per-click (PPC)/paid search/search engine marketing (SEM) efforts for our corporate client. Drive execution of ongoing digital marketing campaigns. Our client's goal is to create a best-in-class digital brand which drives revenue, builds brand equity and increases customer loyalty across all product lines. Qualified candidates for this SEM/PPC role will have a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as well as strong project management skills. Experience with short delivery timelines is required.
You're their ideal candidate if you live and breathe digital marketing, emerging technologies and have a keen interest in the financial services industry.
Specifically, the person in this role will help manage all aspects of executing high profile and complex paid search digital media campaigns, including initial planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting. The emphasis for role is on the quickly learning and demonstrating mastery of basic search engine marketing tactics including the execution of keyword builds, bids and bid optimization strategies, implementation of new tactics, and related activities with the objective of meeting performance goals and budget targets. The focus is exclusively on paid search and related PPC campaigns.
Create, manage, and analyze paid search campaigns across multiple search engines to ensure acquisition and conversion goals are met
Primary point of contact and subject matter expert for paid search with both internal and external partners, for example: Google, Bing, Yahoo, & MSN
Research and select keywords, ad copy testing, bid management, landing page optimization, budget management
Partner with key constituents to develop, implement and monitor new campaigns and creative units
Develop and test new campaigns to better target users and improve overall ROI
Provide analysis of results and make continuous recommendations through social media, Adwords, Outbrain, Taboola
Assist in generating weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, including ability to recognize and troubleshoot data anomalies
