Our fortune 500 client is seeking a marketing operations expert for the role of Digital Marketing Operations Specialist within its Global Expansion business unit. This person will drive all aspects of their Onsite and Email Marketing Operations, in close collaboration with the relationship marketing team, as well as the continuous process and tool optimization that is necessary to run email operations successfully, with increased efficiency over time.

This is a highly demanding and visible role in which the successful candidate will shape the global onsite and email operations and ensure its continuous optimization. This position will be based in San Jose, CA, with occasional need for international travel.

Job Responsibilities:
The position holder will be responsible for the email and onsite marketing campaigns to international users in countries and regions such as Mexico, Latin America, Russia and more.

The person holding this position will specifically:
• Ensure timely execution and launch of planned email campaigns, in close collaboration with the Relationship Marketing teams in Zurich, Moscow and San Jose, as well as in-line with the overall agreed marketing calendar
• Ensure timely live to site dates of planned onsite campaigns and manage the trafficking and targeting of graphical messages on the site, in close collaboration with other teams
• Work with external agencies, email service provider and various internal teams and stakeholders on daily basis – developing tools necessary to maintain consistently working online operations, at continuously growing, state of the art technological standards around content management systems, global scalability and integrated operational processes
• Ensure continuous improvements of established processes: develop lists of necessary future enhancements to processes, ways of working, team set ups and tools
• Work on various projects, developing brand new advanced dynamic email and onsite campaigns
• Grow operational excellence in working with product and marketing teams globally, develop relationships remotely, exchange best practices
• Work closely with the central Planning function to update on own resource levels, in line with the agreed support level needed to deliver the campaigns reflected in the marketing calendar.
• Share progress on projects and/or innovations and manage stakeholder expectations in detail.
• Manage critical issues through to resolution
