Digital Marketing Manager: Outreach & Education

An energy company in Manhattan is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their Outreach & Education supporting Smart Meter roll out initiatives. They will be responsible for executing marketing communication plans to public and consumers to engage and gain buy-in to new smart meters. It is highly preferred that this person has experience with both marketing and energy as well as digital and analytics. They will manage programs through development and publication and through multiple channels including digital and external events.  They will also monitor engagement and success, including digital analytics.  They will also be hands on with events and presentations including weekends and evenings. The position is a long term, open ended contract opportunity.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist with the Smart Meter Engagement Project.   Marketing background with experience in energy. 
Core projects 
o Customer engagement programs – management of programs from development, through execution and analysis 
o Budget – forecasting, monitoring, reporting, etc. as related to project planning 
o Educational literature – development, printing, distribution/mailing 
o Events / Presentations – organize, staff and present for internal and external audiences, including on evenings and weekends as needed 

Required skills 
o Marketing background, with digital and analytics experience preferred 
o Project management experience, including budget management 
o Experience within the energy industry strongly preferred 
o Strong technical skills – including MS Office, and ability and willingness to learn and utilize new systems 
o Must be organized and have the ability to handle multiple priority initiatives simultaneously, sometimes with minimal supervision 
o Excellent oral and written communication skills 
o Experience developing and writing customer communications, literature and programs 
o Ability to measure, analyze and report on program effectiveness 
o Experience managing and staffing corporate events 
o Willingness to participate in/staff events on evenings and weekends as needed
