Digital Marketing Manager

AQUENT RVA is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager with Affiliate Marketing experience for a long-term contract role.

The candidate will:
Manage/Coordinate creative development process supporting acquisitions-based marketing projects touching multiple digital channels, including the public website (Desktop, Tablet & Mobile experiences), Email, Affiliate marketing and Phone Agent scripting
Work with marketing strategists to define inbound/outbound campaign objectives and key performance metrics
Develop and present creative briefs and marketing requirements documentation outlining marketing campaign objectives for execution by internal creative teams or external creative agencies
Provide, collect and synthesize creative feedback from multiple stakeholders during creative builds
Act as primary point of contact with creative agencies, including scheduling meetings, providing creative direction and feedback, and coordinating hand-offs from creative agencies to downstream build/delivery teams
Ensure brand consistency is maintained throughout creative build process
Coordinate documentation to ensure timely and defect-free hand-off of digital creative to internal and external delivery teams
Participate in strategic planning sessions for future digital marketing initiatives
Act as consultant and digital creative subject matter expert to other teams



Experience:
4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business. 5+ years experience in an organizational role, preferably in a marketing or agency environment.

Preferred Experience:
2+ years digital marketing experience or fast-paced, advertising agency environment managing multiple projects for multiple customers/accounts. Account Management experience a plus.

Industry Knowledge:
Confident in leading digital marketing communications-based projects for multiple clients, ideally digital marketing/creative for a financial services based company or ad agency with multiple client/industry focuses. Proven ability to quickly ramp up on client expectations. Actively researches, learns and incorporates new design and UX/UI means and methods whenever and wherever possible to improve design quality of final deliverables.
