Digital Manager (Marketing)

· Contract to start ASAP

· Contract will be for 6 months with a view to then extend for a further 6

Your Role in This:

We are looking for a highly experienced Digital Manager to lead the UK digital strategy for our suite of products. Working closely with Corporation teams, the Digital Manager will be responsible for the day to day management and delivery of product’s customer facing web properties.

The Digital Manager will be required to build and manage a virtual team of stakeholders with a shared goal of engaging BDMs and ITDMs in high value end user actions leading to customer acquisition. The Digital Manager will assume responsibility for all to customer digital marketing activity including eCommerce, social channels, SEO, SEM, click-to-chat, gated content, trials and test drives. Working closely with the Product Marketing Managers and Audience Marketing Managers the required outcome is to increase digital marketing impact, driving high value end actions and marketing qualified leads whilst providing an excellent customer experience.

Deliverables Summary:
• Be the ‘digital’ expert for the product in the UK with responsibility for managing and delivering UK digital properties.
• Work with Microsoft Central Marketing Organisation ensuring delivery and execution of corporate driven Digital direct campaigns and local initiated marketing campaigns, content and initiatives.
• Collaborate with PMMs and Corporate to ensure we deliver a world class online experience; creating an unbroken customer journey resulting in optimal customer engagement and conversion e.g. taking unknown prospects from the website through to acquired customers (from trial, gated content and lead nurture through to purchase) ensuring lead flow and marketing qualified leads are extracted and passed to sales.

• Partner with Corp Digital team to maintain joint UK/Corp web calendar and lead the bi-weekly synch on Editorial Calendar

• Ownership of UK Digital testing plan – providing input back to Corp team on UK priority A/B Testing requirements, and ensuring delivery and results are shared with UK and Corp teams for wider implementation

• Deliver comprehensive reporting to enable performance tracking of our marketing activity and to derive insight and inform our plans
• To report on and generate insight from the performance of our Direct Digital businesses and to share these with key internal stakeholders at the executive level across the company
• Manage budgets, and reporting accordingly

Scorecard / KPI accountability:
• CRMOL seat ads
• Unique visitors to website
• Number high value end user actions including trial, test drive, gated content and click to chat

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Extensive experience in eCommerce, digital marketing platforms, social media and content led marketing.
• Experience of working in complex organisations and a track record of v-team accomplishments (cross boundary collaboration and interpersonal awareness)
• Strong marketing experience is essential
• Proven track record of strategic organizational impact and influence
• Deep marketing competencies/skills & experience, including Social Media
• Deep knowledge and insight about audience and markets
• Understanding of the impact of technology and business trends on the local ecosystem and effective use of PR
