Digital Marketing Manager

A major media property that focuses on women's lifestyle, food, fashion stories is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager for a 1+ years position, 40 hours a week on-site at their offices in Downtown New York City.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategies for both paid advertising and unpaid partnerships and media swaps to drive audience growth (including web traffic, email subscribers, app downloads and social followers) for DailyCandy
• Develop key positioning points and creative that communicate DailyCandy’s brand positioning and drive response for use in paid marketing channels including display advertising, re-targeting/behavioral targeting, SEO/SEM, partnerships, co-registration, promotions/sweepstakes, and affiliate marketing
• Create and manage plan for channel mix based both on acquisition scale/efficiency and post-acquisition performance by source—including new-customers’ engagement with content
• Partner with Research Department to:
o Accurately forecast and manage individual campaign budgets in order to hit company audience targets
o Understand and report on demographic profiles of audiences delivered via paid marketing campaigns
• Manage relationships with media vendors & marketing agencies and provide media performance reports to VP of Marketing
• Work with Product & Technology Departments to improve customer acquisition process for the company by setting testing strategy and conversion improvement targets
• Partner with Product & Research departments to develop segmentation and offer strategies that increase audience engagement and retention
• Perform deep user segment analysis to identify incremental engagement opportunity from existing audience through direct marketing tactics (email, website, mobile, etc.)
• Create and execute test plans, for both DailyCandy platforms and external marketing campaigns

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 6+ years of experience with digital marketing analytics
• Deep understanding of SEM and marketing tools
• Analytically minded and results oriented a must
• Fluent in Excel model building and proficient in Word and PowerPoint
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to work cross-functionally
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage successfully complete multiple-projects simultaneously
• Supportive and collaborative team player
• Must have a keen eye for style and understanding key brand attributes
