This non-profit, which is run like a business, is looking for a digital marketing manager. They are aiming to recruit more bone marrow donors and facilitate more life-saving transplants than ever before—and rewriting the outreach rules to achieve them. Position Summary: Responsible for growing online presence by leading the online and social media marketing strategy. Enable rapid rise in registration numbers through effective use of social media and online marketing technologies. Build-out of automated campaign capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Formulate best practices in SEO/SEM, Online Advertising, Website development and content to drive revenue and donor registrations
Use a mix of online marketing, high-quality content generation, paid keyword advertising, and event-based campaigns to drive customer acquisition
Plan, manage and deliver email campaigns
Manage all social media channels and be able to offer insight and strategy for proper execution
Analyze campaigns and programs for effectiveness; conduct marketing programs reporting/ analysis
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to identify areas where further investment will yield ROI
Leverage Salesforce.com and any other software packages to build effective lead nurturing programs
Collaborate closely with all internal departments to assure programs meet business objectives
Assist in specific communications materials: case studies, blogs, online communications, website
Manage external digital media agencies
Plan and track online marketing budget
Own and improve donor registrations and efforts and related reporting in Google Analytics, Salesforce.com, Google Adwords, etc.

Requirements/Qualifications:

“Can-do” spirit and creative thinking
Bachelor’s degree in marketing related field or technology background with marketing knowledge is a must
3-5 years of experience in consumer facing marketing
Hands-on knowledge of online media, email acquisition, affiliate marketing
Must have a working knowledge of SEO, SEM, CRM, and Web technologies
Strong understanding of email platforms, a plus
Agency background is a plus
Superior communication and writing skills
Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
Analytical and forward thinker
Very proactive work ethic with a follow-through attitude
Complete tasks with minimal supervision and with the emphasis on problem-solutions
Great organizational skills with attention to detail
