Digital Marketing Manager

Our client creates a line of raw, ready-to-eat snacks, meals, and cold-pressed juices, and they are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager for a full-time onsite role in the Richmond area. This is an onsite contract role, working 5 days per week with the potential of converting to a permanent position.

In this role you will oversee the digital marketing strategy for the company, and be responsible for acquiring customers and driving sales through digital and direct response channels. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills and be able to clearly communicate strategy, provide detailed reporting and be an all-around email subject matter expert that can keep the department and management teams up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Manage multi-channel tactics to promote customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across paid marketing channels, email, and the website
• Track performance to goals
• Develop and manage a pipeline of partnerships to acquire customers
• Manage the affiliate program to drive customer acquisition
• Help build a first-rate email-marketing program including lifecycle-marketing campaigns (welcome/on-boarding messaging, reacquisition programs etc.)
• Work with external teams to monitor paid marketing efforts including search engine marketing campaigns, retargeting as well as SEO
• Ensure all channels and tactics reflect and support the overall campaign strategy and message
• Actively monitor all campaign analytics, create ad-hoc and recurring reporting on campaign performance and communicate results effectively to the team
• Proactively and continuously draw actionable conclusions, recommend and execute actions toward optimization

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business
• 3+ years of experience in Digital Marketing assisting with one or more of the following: email, affiliates, paid partnerships, SEM, and SEO
• Experience with digital marketing tools such as Email Service Providers (MailChimp, SailThru), Web Analytics Tools (such as Google Analytics) and Online Advertising Platforms (such as AdWords)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
