Digital Marketing Manager

As part of eBusiness Digital Marketing & Sales team for a healthcare company, you will function as the lead account executive supporting small (ISGBU) and mid/large (LGSB) business units for.

You will be responsible for identifying strategies to help the BUs best leverage online marketing to promote new plans, rate cycle initiatives, and open enrollment efforts. Working closely with the BUs marketing managers, you will implement and optimize digital marketing strategies that drive profitable growth for the BUs in alignment with the BU’s annual business plan and marketing roadmap.

-Drives a range of digital marketing campaigns (for acquisition, engagement, and retention) across a variety of online channels including email, microsites, landing pages, newsletters, banners and display ads.

-Communicates status with all key stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on strategy and on time.

-Ability to work within a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment with competing priorities. Must be a strategic thinker who is also willing and able to roll up their sleeves and execute to get the job done.

-Must be customer-centric and adept at building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Manages all digital marketing efforts in support of Small Group and Mid/Large business units.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Campaign management from start to finish (intake of request, planning and discovery, prioritization, kick-off meetings, project scheduling, resource management, creative reviews, testing, tracking, campaign analysis and insights/optimization, etc.).

2. Provide campaign best practices and insights to drive marketing success and result in new and creative marketing and communication strategies and tactics with unique messaging, positioning, and media to maximize results.

3. Approve all technical and artistic phases of digital marketing collateral and materials (e.g.: copy and design); tracking project deliverables / milestones; managing vendor and internal unit activities and preparing reports and communications on project status to stakeholders.

4. Analyzes and synthesizes results from strategic marketing initiatives, campaigns, and programs to develop compelling and unique value propositions and messages; shares findings with management, team members and stakeholders; and recommends actions based on findings.

5. Helps establish processes to more effectively deliver to Digital Marketing goals and those of our stakeholders (may include prioritization processes and trafficking strategies).

6. Provides recommendations for optimizing campaign performance based on metrics and insights.

7. Suggests and executes A/B testing to identify most effective marketing creative and messaging.

Experience

• At least 5 years in marketing with a minimum of 3 years in online marketing for large B2C companies****

• In-depth knowledge of advanced online marketing principles, best practices and techniques including marketing analysis and research tools.

• Experience working in large, highly-matrixed companies

• Experience driving marketing campaigns from start to finish

• Ability to independently evaluate marketing plans and processes and recommend process improvements.

• Excellent cross-functional team, project and organizational leadership skills with attention to details.

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication (verbal and written) skills.

• Ability to multitask with multiple deadlines and/or milestone requirements.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to use advanced features of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

• Ability to influence stakeholders and decision makers.

• Experience with A/B and multivariant testing.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the health insurance industry including products, services and their financial drivers, a plus.
• Process re-engineering experience, a plus.
• Experience using content management systems (especially Tridion), a plus.
• Knowledge of cheetah mail and/or Marketo.
• Basic HTML and graphic design experience, a plus.

Education/Requirements:
BA/BS in marketing or business and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
