Digital Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for collaborating with marketing leaders to plan, execute, and optimize content distribution through email, social, SEO, earned and paid media channels in order to build brand awareness, drive customer retention and generate leads to support the sales team. This individual will also be in charge of reporting and have the ability to use data to continuously optimize campaigns and boost results.


The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Marketing Automation

o   Manage the process for executing email marketing campaigns and help develop strategies for maturing the use of the Pardot tool

o   Work cross-functionally with the sales team to develop emails and landing pages for event invitations, follow-ups, and confirmations


  • Digital Marketing Projects

o   Conceive, define and execute digital promotion strategies for brand awareness, customer retention, and lead generation

o   Collaborate with marketing leaders to support business initiatives

o   Manage content posting to all campaign channels: email, social media, SEO, earned media, and paid media syndication, etc.


  • Digital Marketing Reporting and Analysis

o   Reporting and continuous optimization of campaigns and content promotion through measurement, testing, and segmentation

o   Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly KPI reporting

§  Measure, report, and analyze all key performance indicators from all relevant data sources including (using Google Analytics), Pardot, social media, PR initiatives, Salesforce and customer data feeds

o   Create ad-hoc reports for business leaders

o   Mange Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, including site tagging requirements

  • Support Digital Marketing strategies

o   Uncover trends and insights from both internal and industry data to optimize spend and performance of our marketing efforts

o   Support initiatives related to Google Webmaster Tools, Site Search, SEO and SEM

o   Provide recommendations to improve usability of marketing tools and campaigns

o   Execute overall online strategy and ongoing management of digital projects, including: Quarterly webcasts and content promotion

o   Manage digital promotional calendar, assets, dependencies, deliverables, and timelines

o   Create and ensure compliance with processes for campaign execution



·      Bachelor's degree, with specific training  & experience in related field

·      Minimum of 5-7 years experience in digital marketing

·      Background in CRM or marketing automation, web and digital analytics preferred

·      Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email

·      Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to effectively work independently, as well as part of a team.

·      Extremely detail oriented with teamwork skills and the ability to work across functional teams and all levels of the organization

·      Strong user experience/design sense, interest in marketing and customer engagement

·      Expertise in MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·      Experience with web and/or marketing analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture, Coremetrics, etc.)

·      Experience with marketing automation tools, lead scoring a plus (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, etc.)

·      Collaborative mindset that inspires those around them (peers and those more senior) to be creative and try new things
